Guest Policies

We hope that you find the below information helpful as you enjoy our facilities as an invited guest of one of our Members. Some of our club's customs and regulations may vary from other clubs. In an effort to assist you with your experience while visiting Bellerive Country Club, we wanted to make the following information available. If there is anything we can do to enhance your visit, please let one of our staff members know. If you have any questions, please feel free to call the Clubhouse at 314-434-4400.

  • Cellular Phones
      • To preserve the integrity of the club, and out of respect for members and their guests, cellular/mobile phones and other forms of electronic communication equipment should be placed on silent while on club property.

      • The use of mobile devices is permitted for those 12 and over as long as the use is noiseless and they are not used as telephones.

      • The audio use of mobile devices for phone calls is prohibited except in the restrooms and the locker rooms. For clarification, audio use of mobile devices in the Men’s Grill is prohibited.

      • The golf course, audio use of mobile devices should be limited to emergencies and should not be disruptive to others. Audio use is not permitted on the golf practice areas, in the swimming pool area or on the tennis courts.

  • Arrival
      • Guests are encouraged to use the valet and bag drop provided by the club.

      • All golf guests are required to check in with the Golf Shop or with the professional in the locker room.

  • Attire
      • Semi-Formal — Jacket required. Shirts need to be collared, however golf shirts are not acceptable. Ladies are expected to dress accordingly.

        Casual
        — Jackets and ties are not required. Shirts must be collared or banded. Bermuda shorts and acceptable golf or tennis attire are permitted in season. Tee shirts are not permitted. All clothes must be clean and neat in appearance and shirttails must be tucked in. Golf and baseball hats may not be worn in the Clubhouse. Appropriate denim is permitted in select areas as defined by the Denim Policy listed below:

        Denim Policy:
        Denim Pants are allowed at all times in the Mixed Grill, Men’s Grill, Men’s and Ladies’ Locker Rooms and on the Normandy Terrace. Denim pants are allowed at the Pool and Paddle facilities. When wearing denim, Members and guests must enter the Clubhouse through the casual entrance located to the left of the main entrance, or enter directly into the Locker Rooms or Normandy Terrace.

        Denim Pants are not permitted in the east side of the Clubhouse, the Ballroom or the Normandy Room, nor are they permitted in the golf, tennis or bocce sporting areas.

      Golf Attire

      • Men’s Golf Attire: Men are required to wear collared shirts or turtlenecks at all times. Sport slacks or walking shorts are acceptable, but shorts must be no more than 4” above the knee. Blue jeans, cargo pants/shorts, tee shirts and warm-up suits are not permitted.

      • Women’s Golf Attire: Women are required to wear skirts, tailored full-length slacks or appropriate walking shorts. Shirts without collars are permitted, but tank tops or warm-up suits are not permitted.

      • Guests are asked to please change into their golf/tennis shoes in the locker room, not in their car or in the lobby.

      • Soft Spikes only in golf shoes.

      Tennis Attire

      • White tennis clothing (maximum 25% color) and tennis shoes must be worn on the tennis courts. The term “tennis shoes” shall mean a court or athletic shoe with a sole appropriate for tennis. Waffled soles or running shoes shall not be permitted on the tennis courts.
